Due to the reduction in ridership related to Coronavirus concerns, RTP is currently operating its demand response service at a substantially reduced level. We are joining our regional transportation providers in providing free transportation to our riders effective Friday, March 20. Also on March 20, the agency will close its office on St John Street to the public. Effective March 21, RTP will end its Saturday demand response service at 1 PM and cancel service on Sundays. However, RTPs ADA complimentary paratransit service remains fully-operational within the Metro’s service area. RTP has suspended the Lakes Region Explorer bus service until further notice. Should RTP decide to make further changes, a notice will be placed on our web-page, facebook and with local media.
