It is with great sadness that I share the news that longtime RTP Board Member Derek O’Brien has passed away.

Derek was a dedicated advocate for our riders and a trusted voice on our Board. His guidance, commitment, and care for our mission have left a lasting impact on RTP and the communities we serve. Beyond his contributions as a board member, Derek was a friend and valued colleague whose presence will be deeply missed.
